STUDENTS LEARN IMAGE "IT MATTERS" IN FINO WORKSHOP
State Senator Ann Duplessis and the District 2 Community Enhancement Corporation will host the first (1st ) Fashion Institute of New Orleans workshop - Image Consultation on Thursday, March 6, 2008 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Ray's Over the River - World Trade Center - #2 Canal Street, 31st floor, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130.
FINO students will receive training in the art of crafting a business persona and its effect on successful practices. In addition, they will learn interviewing skills, appearance standards as well as customer service and business etiquette.
On Thursday, Image Consultant - Julie Branden of Vivid Image Consulting will share her 20 years of experience in the image and hospitality industry with FINO students.
Branden who has studied with the London Image Institute; is one of only two image consultants certified in Louisiana by the Association of Image Consultant International.
The Fashion Institute of New Orleans is a program of the District 2 Community Enhancement Corporation, targeted to maximize the impact of the fashion and retail industry in New Orleans - more specifically, Senate District 2. This unique and innovative program is designed to provide high school students exposure to expertise and opportunities in the fashion and retail industry.
